"The purpose of the association is the promotion of health as well as social, medical/nursing and preventative work in the field of assistance to drug users. This task is done in particular by giving advice, support and therapy to people requiring help in the area of work covered by drug assistance services as well as by helping people to avoid becoming addicted. To do so, the association can maintain advisory centres, therapy facilities or other facilities that serve the purpose of the association."
