Support is a generic term for various kinds of intervention. Drug addicts who receive support are given information as well as counselling. Referrals and even treatment are also possible. Support is given as part of the "living" service.
The residential groups of the Düsseldorfer Drogenhilfe e.V. are aimed at men and women whose lives centre on Düsseldorf and who need support in the form of
- help to survive
- counselling and
- help getting off drugs

We give drug addicts who are living an abstinent life after undergoing therapy or a similar measure:
- the chance to stabilize their abstinence
- support with getting back to work
- the chance to try out appropriate leisure activities
People who wish to lead a life that is less dominated by drugs will get support:
- development of social networks outside the drug scene
- how to handle relapses
- developing alternative solutions to problems
Homeless people, men and women who take illegal drugs can get help from our "living" department:
- overcoming homelessness
- practising house-keeping skills for independent living
- sorting out debts
In addition, we also support people in their own accommodation as part of their individual support plan.
